Ratchagam
was founded by Dr.J.Jesumani Charles Rtd.
teacher, Ex-Serviceman and managed by board

The founder's
son was born in 1971. Just 18 months of
birth he was affected by poliomyelitis and
was paralyzed in both limbs. He lost motor
functions of his two legs and was not able
to walk like normal kid in his childhood.
Both his parents who were then employed
as teachers did not loose hope on his son
and decided to educate him along with the
other siblings and gave special care along
with rehabilitation which made himself supportive.
He has completed post graduate in computer |
One day
when Dr.J. Jesumani Charles was in his prayer,
he received God's message and his inner
self said "extend help to the poor
and orphans" which was his purpose
of life. After he received this message
from God he started educating the impoverished
disabled children, orphans and children
of widows,. In 1989 he formed an association
to help the poor, orphan and disabled children.
Through his efforts more than 25 children
have been educated and they are all self-supportive
and many are working as a teacher, nurse,
typist etc. His association was named as
RATCHAGAM and was registered
as a Trust on May 2012. |
The good work which Dr.J.Jesumani
Charles initiated still continues, ably supported
by trust members. |
